Christian Yoga - Rhema Yoga
Today in the Rhema "Christian Yoga" Daily...This is a Psalm of joy and praise that reveals the true nature of God. When we read the scripture, and especially the Old Testament, we can sometimes be surprised by the punishments and judgements that we see written out. Psalms like this are important, and valuable to us in moments when we forget the true nature of God.
He is always good. He is always compassionate to His children. When we remember His nature, we adjust the lens that we see Him with. We are able to see everything about God, both in the scripture and in our own lives, with a proper lens. He is good, and whatever He does, He does with a heart of mercy. Sometimes that means judgement, and sometimes that means blessings. As small humans, we cannot always understand someone as massive and powerful as God. But at Rhema, we remember, through our Christian Yoga practice, that we don't need to understand all He does. We simply need to know Him. To connect with Him. To love Him as children of the King.
