This Week in the Rhema "Christian Yoga" Weekly...When you are going through life, the best way to communicate with healthy people is directly, yet lovingly.
But how to do this? And what does it look like? Say it straight, simple and with a smile. Respect people enough to tell them what you are really thinking, without beating around the bush, dropping strange hints, acting passive aggressive or just "hoping they figure it out... because they should know." Say it simple and straight so that you are easy to understand and it's easy for people to know how you feel and what you need. Say it with a smile to show that you are for them, no matter what you are saying, and that you are doing your best to communicate in love.

This Week in the Rhema "Christian Yoga" Weekly...When you are communicating with someone, the best way to honor them is to say what you mean, and mean what you say.
We often try to beat around the bush or sugar-coat our messages in an attempt to spare someone their feelings, but this usually is not a good example of us honoring them well. Respect someone enough to tell them what you really mean, and then follow through on whatever you promise them. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. When you do this, you'll find that some people won't be able to handle it, often because of issues they are dealing with in their lives. But you'll also find true relationships starting to form in your life as trust and respect between others will grow substantially. This Week in the Rhema "Christian Yoga" Weekly...At Rhema, we understand that our strength is our own belief in the God of the Bible. With this faith, we know who we are, because we know who he is. We trust his words about us, and we believe that he will always be there for us.
Sons and Daughters of the King of Heaven do not falter and fail when issues of great importance come up, because they have the strength of belief deep within their soul. When you know that the Master of the Universe loves you more than you love yourself, and that he calls you "good" even though he knows the darkest thoughts of your heart, then you can move mountains. Rhema Christian YogaThe principle ingredient of life is love, but how do we love well? How do we live in this world, loving ourselves and our fellow man to the best of our ability?
It’s not a question one should approach lightly, although the answer itself is easy. We learn to live and love well when we know Jesus and spend time sitting with God. When we are with the Father, we have peace. We begin to know who we are and whose we are. As with most things in this world, you can try to love ourselves and others well out of our own strength. Some people might be very good at it. Others not so much. Either way, one this is the same for both groups of people – it will be harder than it should be without Jesus. They won’t be nearly as good at it as they could be with Jesus. They will eventually burn out and get tired without God. If the principal ingredient of life is love, why not do it well? Do it with Jesus. Get to know him in your Rhema Yoga practice. Then go out into the world and love well! |
