~Forgiveness rewrites our History~

When we look at the Bible, we see that when God remembers many of the  people that have lived and died, He remembers their amazing acts of faith.  

Despite the fact that many of the people He talks about in glowing terms sinned, He ignores the sins and magnifies their faith.  Why is it that He remembers their faith, without remembering their sin?  In a word, repentance.

When we repent, God is quick to forgive, and when God forgives, He forgets that part of our history that is sin.  If God forgives us and forgets our past, why don't we?

At Rhema Yoga, we use our system of Christian Yoga to remember that we can get past our past, and begin a new life as soon as tomorrow.  We don't have to be a victim of our past.
