There is a Struggle...
For centuries, Christians have been struggling with one powerful question:
"If I'm saved and set free by God, why is life still so hard?"
Some decide it is because they are so evil in nature, a constant sinner. They punish themselves and deny themselves in an effort to overcome. This almost always leads to more misery and a partnering with shame. Others decide life is so hard because the world is so evil, and they are so good. They begin to judge the world and the people around them. This leads to no greater level of peace and happiness in the long run, and often hurts relationships. In the end, Christians everywhere seem to be acting no differently, than non-Christians, and sometimes even worse.
The question becomes - "What makes the Christians any different, or any better, than the non-Christians? They are not showing a lifestyle of victory, peace, charity or love, and they aren't thinking about their fellow man, only themselves..."

How Can I live in Victory, Peace and Empowerment?
There is an Answer...

But what if an answer, both rational and philosophical, had been made available long ago, only to be forgotten and lost by humanity?
This is the first part of what our “Message” suggests: Over 40,000 years ago, The God of the Bible communicated with every race and tribe, creating a relationship with all humans and sharing the ways of salvation, as well as the ways to overcome tribulation on earth. People knew God, and worshipped him.
References to the ways to worship God and the wisdom God shared with man can still be found in every country. His wisdom and truth still can be seen, to some degree, in the ancient texts of many cultures. Some cultures lost the plain and precious truths shared with them quickly, while others like the Jews were more diligent in keeping the wisdom shared with them. God began his relationship with man in the Garden of Eden, before any civilization or faith existed. He didn't end that relationship after the garden. Jainism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, and the religions before these show the signs and truths of God, despite centuries of corruption that has seeped in.
Why has corruption seeped in? In a word, the devil.
The devil has worked with flawed men for centuries to change the truths and wisdom passed from God to man. He did this so that he could break relationship between God and man and lead as many away from heaven as possible.
Why were the Jews God's "Chosen People?" Because their steadfastness and stubborn resolve not to let corruption into their faith led to a preservation of God's ways that far outmatched other religions. After centuries had passed, the Jews still knew much of who God was. The Hindus, Taoists and others had forgotten.
Throughout time God has shared as much kingdom truth as a civilization has been willing to accept. He used various messengers (often called prophets) with whom he had made contact and/or inspired. Some of them knew God directly. Others were simply inspired by the Holy Spirit, without ever knowing God. Each messenger was given a message suitable for the level of understanding prevailing at that time in their culture. The primary purpose was to instill the basic principles of the Kingdom around the world. To the level that a civilization was willing and able to accept Godly truth, he would provide it. After they had accepted it, he would give them more. The Jews were the best at this, the other people groups less so. But all civilizations had enlightened messengers such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Confucius, Buddha and more.
Eventually all of humanity reached a level of confusion and decay, and God decided to make himself more visible in the personage of Jesus. He did this among his chosen people, the Jews. Even the Jews were at a point of deception where the leaders could not accept the Godly wisdom of Jesus. Some of those among them could, however, and this is what led to Christianity. From Christianity, to a Holy Roman Empire. From a Holy Roman Empire to a Christian Europe, and then to a Christian America, and a Christian world.
It was Jesus who came to deliver the final message of salvation and the last truths of tribulation before the end of this age. Before armageddon. As such, Rhema now has two missions: spreading the salvation message on Earth and preparing the saints for the tribulations of the world through liberation, enlightenment and empowerment.
We are not victims, but there is a coming harvest...
